About Wadran Industrial Industrial Intelligence

Wadran Industrial helps refineries and other high risk industrial sites run more safely, more reliably, and with less risk to people and the environment.

Our work is industrial intelligence. We build software that reads the data plants already collect and returns sealed evidence that engineering teams, safety auditors, and procurement can verify. Our first product is Twin-3 ORCA. It is built in the United Kingdom and designed to serve operators around the world.

The world needs industry to grow safely. When critical sites run well, people are safer, communities are more secure, and environmental disasters are less likely.

Refineries, petrochemical complexes, gas processing facilities, and regulated manufacturing sites produce the fuel, plastics, medicines, and materials every modern economy depends on. They also lose between fifty and two hundred and sixty billion dollars a year to unplanned downtime, drown control rooms in more than ninety thousand alarms a month, and remain one of the largest sources of industrial emissions and major accident risk worldwide.

Most of the evidence to address all of this already exists inside operators' historian systems. It sits buried, unsearchable, and uncited. Wadran was founded to build the industrial intelligence layer that surfaces it. The company is small and the platform is precise. The ambition is not.

Heavy industry loses billions every year to problems that the data already showed were coming. We are here to close that gap.

Refineries and oil and gas operations operate some of the most complex and capital intensive infrastructure on Earth. A single unplanned shutdown can cost between three hundred and eighty eight thousand and six hundred and twenty eight thousand dollars per hour, and the cost of a serious safety event is measured in lives and decades of recovery. Industry teams know this. They have been working against it for years. What they have not had is an evidence layer that converts their existing historian data into actionable, sealed engineering findings.

Twin-3 ORCA is our first product. It is built specifically for process operators and validated against the public Tennessee Eastman Process benchmark at ninety one point seven percent fault detection across eleven of twelve fault families. It is the start of a longer roadmap. As Wadran grows, we will release additional industrial intelligence products covering integrity management, predictive maintenance, energy optimisation, and emissions accountability. We are committing to this industry for the long term.

A quieter control room. A workforce that finally trusts the console.

Industry investigations from Texas City to Buncefield to Deepwater Horizon all reached one consistent conclusion. Catastrophic process events are preceded by detectable warning signs that operators miss because they are drowning in nuisance alarms. The published industry baseline for nuisance alarm rate sits above seventy percent. The healthy ISA-18.2 threshold sits below thirty percent. The gap costs lives.

Twin-3 ORCA ranks alarm floods into a prioritised engineering worklist. Operators see the real signal first. Engineering teams stop chasing ghosts through historian data. Shift handovers stop becoming investigations. The platform exists to return one thing to the humans behind the console. Time, and trust in their own tools.

Catching the deviation hours before it becomes a release.

Process industries contribute roughly a quarter of global industrial emissions. A meaningful share of unplanned flaring events behind those releases is preceded by process deviations the historian recorded but nobody searched. The European Commission Seveso III Directive and the United Kingdom COMAH regulations exist for exactly this reason. Major accidents at industrial sites kill people, devastate ecosystems, and erase decades of climate work in a single incident.

Twin-3 ORCA reads the physical laws the plant already obeys, including mass balance, energy balance, and thermodynamic constraints. It isolates early risk fault signatures before those signatures cross a safety threshold. This is the class of capability that, deployed at industrial scale, structurally reduces the probability of the next major release event.

Industrial productivity has stagnated for fifteen years. Heavy industry is where the next decade of growth lives.

McKinsey Global Institute reports that industrial productivity growth across OECD countries has stayed under one percent per year since 2010. Siemens True Cost of Downtime 2024 puts refinery unplanned downtime cost at three hundred and eighty eight thousand to six hundred and twenty eight thousand dollars per hour. Aberdeen Research estimates aggregate process industry losses at fifty to two hundred and sixty billion dollars per year. Every percentage point of unplanned downtime recovered translates directly into GDP growth in industrial economies.

Wadran does not promise to fix this on its own. Our contribution is structural. We offer a value gated, evidence first commercial model that delivers a sealed map of addressable operational value. The pilot costs nothing if the map does not clear a five million dollar floor on the operator's own cost model. Multiplied across thousands of process units running global industry, the contribution compounds.

Aligned with work the world has agreed needs doing. SDG 9, SDG 12, and SDG 13.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals identify resilient infrastructure under Goal 9, responsible production under Goal 12, and climate action under Goal 13 as three foundations of a working global economy. Heavy industry sits beneath all three. Making process operations safer, more efficient, and more transparent is climate work, productivity work, and human dignity work at the same time.

Wadran is not affiliated with the United Nations and does not claim to be. Our position is simpler. We build a real tool, we deploy it where it matters most, and we let measurable contribution speak for itself.

Built in the United Kingdom on purpose. A UK contribution to global industrial intelligence.

The United Kingdom operates six major refineries and dozens of major petrochemical and regulated manufacturing sites under one of the most rigorous process safety regimes in the world. The COMAH regulations, EEMUA 191 alarm management standards, and HSE oversight together have shaped the operational safety expectations of the international process industry. A platform that satisfies United Kingdom COMAH grade evidence requirements satisfies the global standard.

The United Kingdom is also building one of the most ambitious artificial intelligence industries in the world, with strong public investment in industrial AI, safety critical engineering, and the digital infrastructure that supports both. Wadran is part of that story. We believe the United Kingdom can lead the world in industrial safety, industrial intelligence, and audit grade engineering, and we are building Wadran to that standard.

Wadran Industrial Ltd is a United Kingdom private limited company registered in England and Wales under Companies House number 17235583, with a registered office in Suffolk. The United Kingdom is our base. The Gulf, Europe, and North America are where we scale.

Built by an engineer. Built around a conviction.

Wadran Industrial was founded in 2026 to build and deliver Twin-3 ORCA. The platform exists because the evidence stack was built first. Nine years of software engineering since 2016, with focused work in recent years on physics informed digital twins, time series anomaly detection, alarm rationalisation methodologies, and conformal coverage. The Tennessee Eastman benchmark results, the Manca alarm dataset structuring, and the SHA-256 sealed forensic pack architecture all predate the company. The company exists to deliver them at industrial scale.

The team is small and the bandwidth is intentional. Every operator conversation routes directly through the engineering lead, with a response within one business day. As pilot revenue allows, the company is recruiting senior process industry technical advisors and additional engineering capacity. The conviction is that the work matters. The discipline is that scale follows the work.

Open the conversation.

Three direct routes, depending on what you bring to the table. Wadran responds to all three personally, within one business day.
